Linear

Connect Linear once and get an issue for every positive reply and every finished campaign.

Connect Linear

In Argorant open Settings, then Connected tools, and click Connect Linear. Linear asks you to approve access for Argorant: it can read your teams and create issues, nothing else. You come straight back to Argorant.

Pick the team

Under Team, choose the team the issues should go to.

Switch on the rules you want

Positive replies opens an issue for every reply you mark Interested or Meeting request in your inbox. Finished campaigns opens an issue when a campaign has sent its last email. Both are off until you switch them on.

Work the issues in Linear

Issues arrive unassigned in the team's triage or first backlog state, like any other work. Assign them, label them and link them to projects as you usually do.

What the issues contain

A positive reply issue is titled with the person, the company and what they asked for, for example "Maya Chen at Linfield asked for a meeting". The description holds the campaign, the email address, the subject, the reply and a link that opens the conversation in Argorant.

A finished campaign issue is titled "Campaign finished:" with the campaign name, and lists the emails sent, the replies and the positive replies, with a link to the campaign.

Good to know

  • One person opens one issue per campaign, even if you change the label later.
  • A campaign counts as finished when nobody in it is waiting for another email. Campaigns that had already finished when you switched the rule on do not open issues.
  • Argorant never edits, closes or reads your existing issues.
  • The rules are included from the Pro plan.
  • To stop, switch a rule off or click Disconnect in Connected tools. You can also revoke Argorant's access in your Linear settings.
